Essential Qualifications and experience : M.Sc./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Marine Science (Biology) Biological Sciences / Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Animal Science / Botany/ Genetics/ Environmental Science OR any other related branch with minimum 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale.

Desirable Qualifications / Experiences : M.Sc./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Marine Science (Biology) Biological Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Animal science / Botany/ Genetics/ Environmental Science OR any other related branch with minimum 68% of marks or 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale.

Job Description : This is the project under “Odisha Marine Biotechnology Research & Innovation Corridor” (OMBRIC) of S&T Dept, Govt of Odisha which involves extensive work on marine microorganisms and microbial products including the enzymes. Short-listed candidates may be enrolled for PhD programme of our Institute following the Institute's guidelines.

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Year 1 & 2 INR 25,000.00 /-per month (+) HRA @ NA % (if applicable)

The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position. Age Guideline : The upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be [28] years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Schedule Tribes / PWD and Female applicants whereas 3 years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Any other terms & conditions governed as per guidelines issued by the funding agency for the engagement of above position as amended from time to time shall be in force towards this temporary recruitment.
28 years, The upper age limit is relaxed up to 5-years in the case of relaxation candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
