National Vrkshayuuveda Research Institute (NVARI) Jhansi established in the year 1973, renamed as Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Dec 2020, is engaged in the research with the focus mandate, conduct medicio-botanical exploration in parts of Central India. Collect and supply genuine raw drug materials for R&D work. To build up repositories for medicinal plants and crude drugs. To established herbal garden and carrying out cultivation of medicinal plants for Ayurveda. The Institute has developed a good herbarium where more than 24000 accessioned specimens of 205 families, 1129 genera and 2563 species are housed and maintained.
Walk-in-Interview for 01 post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will be held at CCRAS-Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (01)
Title of the Project : Development of Quality Standards, estimation of Markers/PRS & Shelf-life Study of CCRAS Coded drugs AYUSH SDM Tablet and AYUSH PK Avaleha.
Duration : 09 months
Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.01.2026.
Emoluments (per month) : Rs. 42000 + HRA (as per govt. rule)
Essential Educational Qualifications : Postgraduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution with two years of experience in the field of research and development. Or MPharm with Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who possess :
(a) Higher qualifications or who have previous research experience in ASU drugs preparation and their standardization
b) Candidates having experience on HPTLC, HPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS.
c) Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents/articles/technical reports etc.
d) Publication in peer-reviewed journals and
e) Knowledge of Computer applications.
General Terms and conditions
1. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as of 01.01.2026 & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC etc. candidates will be as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate” in case he / she is employed elsewhere.
5. The interested candidates are required to bring
(i) duly filled prescribed proforma available on CCRAS website ccras.nic.in
(ii) self- attested copy of certificate in support of age, qualification and experience etc.
(iii) two passport size recent photographs and
(iv) original documents for verification.
