Post : One Project Associate-I & One Project technical support-III
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up one position of Project Associate-I for an internationally funded project entitled “Development of high-throughput screening assays to identify antivirals targeting multiple stages of henipavirus life-cycle” under Dr. Madhuri Subbiah & Dr. Nagendra R Hegde for initially a period of six months.
Project Associate-I (one) with consolidated pay of INR 32,300 p.m that includes 27% HRA.
Eligibility criteria : Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from recognized University or equivalent. Candidates having prior experience in molecular techniques involving cell culture handling and molecular cloning experiences will be preferred.
Upper Age limit : 35 years
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up one position of Project Technical Support-III in an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project titled, ‘X-ray crystal structure determination of V protein and its complexes from Nipah virus and Newcastle disease virus, structure-guided screening and validation of potential anti-V drugs’, under the guidance of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah for a period of one year initially which may be renewed based on performance.
Project Technical Support-III (one)
Fellowship : Rs.28,000/- p.m,+ HRA 30%.
Eligibility criteria : Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized university with three years’ work experience from a recognized research institution OR MSc. (Life Sciences) with one-year work experience after post-graduation.
Desired experiences : Experience in cloning, expression & purification of recombinant proteins and their biophysical characterization, handling cell culture.
Upper Age limit : 30 years
