Applications are Open for B.Pharm candidates to work in Costing of Health Services in India Project, IGIMS

IGIMS was established on 19th November 1983, as an autonomous organisation on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The objective was to provide super specialty medical facilities in Bihar. On 27th January 1983 Cabinet approved the completion of this massive project in 4 phases within a span of six (6) years. According to the decision of State Government, 130.20 Acres of land was transferred to IGIMS.

Applications are invited for the project post mentioned below on contractual basis in the prescribed proforma appended.

Project Title : "Costing of Health Services in India 2.0."
Duration : 1 Year.

Research Assistant - 1 Post
Qualification : MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS with MPH OR MSc / MSW with MBA in Health Care Management & Hospital administration
Experience : 3-5 years experience in DHR/ ICMR research project.
Monthly Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 50000/-

Field Investigators - 2 posts
Qualification : BSc MLT/BSc. Nursing / BPH / B.Pharma / MSW
Experience : 2 years experience in DHR / ICMR research project.
Monthly Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 35000/-

Terms & conditions :
1. These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment from IGIMS, Patna pay roll. No Benefit of Provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the post is purely on contract basis.
2. Appointment will be initially for six months and subject to extension depending on the performance of candidate and funding of the project.
3. Appointment may be terminated with one-month notice or as directed by Competent Authority. Similarly, candidate can resign from post with one-month notice period or else deduction of salary for one month or part thereof.
4. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on IGIMS, Patna or principal investigator. Also, the candidate has no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.
5. The candidates are advised not to bring any type of recommendations to influence their selection. Such candidates will be summarily rejected. Submission of false information during the selection process shall disqualify the candidature at any stage or found ineligible at the time of joining duty.
6. No TA/DA will be paid to shortlisted candidates for attending the interview
7. Information pertaining to this advertisement will be displayed on the IGIMS website.
8. No individual intimation will be sent by IGIMS Patna to applicants. It will be the responsibility of applicants to visit the institute website regularly.

Selection Process
1. Candidates eligible after screening will appear for walk-in-interview on 18th December 2025, Thursday.
2. The interview will be conducted only through offline mode.
3. Reporting time is 10:00 am. Entry will be closed at 11:00 am. Candidates are instructed to be
on time. Latecomers will be ineligible for the interview.
4. Candidates should bring completed application form and photocopies of supporting document along with original documents for verification at the time of interview. Two recent photographs and copy of their Adhaar card should be attached with the documents.
5. The final result will be published on the website of the institute.
6. Selected candidates will have to join within one week of declaration of result.
7. Selected candidates will have to travel within Bihar for the purpose of data collection.
