Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow to work on a UCOST-sponsored project titled “Novel AI-Assisted Clinical Diagnostic Methods for Inborn Errors of Metabolic Syndrome Using TMS: A Regional Medical College Study in Uttarakhand”.

Project duration is two (2) years. The selected candidate has to work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Campus.

Remuneration : Rs. 12,000/month
Qualification : B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc in Life Sciences or Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks in the concerned subject. Candidates with knowledge of analytical chemistry and Instrumentation of LC/GC techniques will be preferred.
Note : 1. The position is purely temporary. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to 2 years or the end of the project based on performance.
2. The selected candidate may be considered for admission to the Ph.D. program as per institute eligibility, rules, and statutes.

Screening & Interview Process : Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the project requirements. Mere qualification of eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. The interview shall be tentatively conducted in the month of January 2026 through online/offline (hybrid mode). The details of the exact date for an interview with all the shortlisted candidates will be intimated in advance via e-mail only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in physical mode. Candidates who are already employed should produce a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from the employer.
