NLC India Limited, a “Navratna" Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal, invites application from eligible candidates with Graduation / Diploma in mentioned below courses and passed during 2021,2022,2023,2024 & 2025 for one year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 in the following designated subject fields.

Post : Pharmacist

No of Training Slots : 5
Duration of Training : One year

Monthly Stipend (INR) : For Technician Apprentice Trainee 12524/- (of which Rs 4000/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)

Minimum Educational Qualifications : • A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Other Eligibility Requirements :
1. Candidates should be from the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhrapradesh, Telengana, Karnataka, Kerala and union territories of Pondicherry.
2. Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam in 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / 2025.
3. Candidates should not have undergone or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLCIL or elsewhere.

Age :
Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Reservation of Vacancies :
Guidelines under Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD will be followed. Those who are claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PwBD shall provide certificate as per Government standard format, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as 'General' category only. For reservation under OBC (Non creamy layer) category, they should submit OBC (NCL) certificate as per the approved (OBC - NCL) format from the certificate issuing authority (validity from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026).

Instruction to Candidates
1. The Candidate will have to arrive at the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations as stated below and enclose it along with the application form (Refer Specimen format).
2. Over statement of Marks by the candidates will lead to disqualification of the candidates from selection process.
3. In case of more than one candidate scoring the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, the senior most candidates will be considered for selection, based on the date of birth.
4. Completion of Training does not entitle the candidates any right to claim temporary or permanent nature of job in NLC India Ltd.


Method of Selection
Graduate and Technician Apprenticeship training:
Selection will be based on percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying Diploma/Degree, as the case may be.
1. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Bachelors degree / Diploma and as awarded in the final qualifying examinations will be calculated based on the practice followed by the University / Institution from where the candidates has obtained the Degree / Diploma.
2. In case the candidate is awarded grades / CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University / Institutions from where he / she has obtained the Bachelor Degree / Diploma
3. In the absence of any established scheme in the University /Institution for calculation of percentage of marks, the following principles will apply
a. In case the candidate is awarded Grades / CGPA, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the Grade / CGPA by a factor of 10.
b. In case the candidate is awarded marks semester wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the semesters from second year to final year.
c. In case the candidate is awarded marks year wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks would be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the years, from second year to final year.

b. Click CAREERS link to open the Careers page.
c. Select the Trainees & Apprentices tab.
d. Apply Online (Graduate & Technician apprentices) Application link under Advt., No. L&DC/04A/2025. (The link will be available from 10.00 Hours on 19-12-2025 to 17.00 Hours on 02-01-2026)
e. Complete the application form and take a print out of the registration form.
f. The Registration form duly signed should be submitted directly or by post to the
Office of The General Manager,
Learning and Development Centre,
Block-20, NLC India Limited, Neyveli - 607803. 
on or before 09-01-2026 by 5.00 PM enclosing the Self Attested copies of the following certificates along with the application


1. Signed printout of the On-line application.
2. Degree Certificates / Provisional Certificate (compulsory Xerox attached)
3. Consolidated or Semester wise Mark Sheet(s) in chronological order
4. Attached University or Institute percentage arriving copy
5. SSLC Mark sheet & HSC Mark sheet
6. Transfer Certificate.
7. Community Certificate (in case of belonging to SC / ST / OBC / EWS).
8. Ration Card / Voter ID card
9. Aadhar Card
10. Proof for Person with Disability (applicable for PwBD candidates).
11. Proof for wards of Ex-Serviceman (certificate applicable for Ex-Servicemen).
12. Format showing method of arrival of percentage of marks in case of Engineering Graduate / Diploma (can be downloaded).
