Advertisement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Pharmacist at SVIMS

SVIMS was conceived in the year 1986 on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi and the foundation stone was laid on 18.4.86 by Late Sri.N.T.Rama Rao, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the world famous pilgrim town Tirupati. It was established with a view to providing Super Specialty facilities with nominal cost to the poor.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Gr-I, Gr-II & Nuclear Medicine Radio Pharmacist Gr- II on Direct Recruitment basis. PERSONS PROFESSING HINDU RELIGION SHALL ONLY APPLY.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Grade-I

Qualifications : M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with P.G. Diploma in Medical Radio Isotope Technology (DMRIT) from BARC or equivalent centre or M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology (OR) M.Sc. Medical Radio Isotope Technology (MRIT) from a recognized teaching institute of repute.
Desirable : 1. Ph.D., with post PG experience of more than 3 years in clinical / industrial. 2. Along with the above mentioned qualifications, one year experience from an institution where Dept. of Nuclear Medicine is well established. 3. Should have at least 1 peer-reviewed article published in a National or International Journal.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Gr-II

Qualifications : B.Sc. degree with two years PG Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB). (OR) B.Sc. degree with One year Certificate Course in Radiographic Assistant (CRA) with four years of experience in handling nuclear medicine equipment from a reputed teaching institution. Must have registered with Andhra Pradesh Paramedical Board (APPMB).

Nuclear Medicine Radio Pharmacist Gr- II

Scale of Pay (RPS 2022) : 37640-115500
Qualifications : 1) Master Degree in Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Science from a recognized university / Institution.
2) Must have single stretch 6 months experience in the Department of Nuclear Medicine / PET CT / Cyclotron of a recognized / reputed institution.

**In case of non-availability of candidates, retired persons would be considered for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Gr.I, on the basis of pay minus pension for a period of 1 year or until the posts are filled up in subsequent recruitments whichever is earlier.

Age:-
1. OC candidate should not have completed 42 years of age as on the date of notification.
2. SC/BC Candidates should not have completed 47 years of age as on the date of notification.

Selection Process:- Purely based on Interview & Experience.

General Instructions
1. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the walk-in- Interview.
2. Upon selection, the candidate has to join in the post immediately.
4. Application and original certificates submitted on walk-in-interview will be verified there and then itself to ascertain the eligibility for the walk-in-interview.
5. The Institute has every right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts and also to modify/cancel the recruitment notification at any point of time without assigning any reasons thereof.
6. Candidates attending walk-in-interview after stipulated reporting time will not be allowed.
7. The Candidates are instructed to bring their Original certificates of qualifications, experience, Caste, Age and Aadhar copy as Identity Proof and any other relevant certificates whichever applicable for verification at the time of attending walk-in-Interview. 8. The candidates should be available for the next day also, if required.

Date/ timings / Venue for the Walk-in-Interview:-
Candidates shall attend walk-in-interview at Old Committee Hall, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Alipiri Road,Tirupati–517507 to be conducted on 10-12-2025 at 10:30 AM (Reporting Time from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM) along with the following documents in original and two sets of attested Xerox copies by downloading the application from SVIMS website

1. S.S.C. or Equivalent examination certificate along with Marks Memo.
2. Intermediate or 10+2 examination certificate along with Marks Memo.
3. Qualifying Examination Pass Certificates along with marks Memo
4. Registration and Renewal certificates from respective recognizing councils.
5. Internship Certificate if any applicable.
6. Latest reservation Caste certificate issued by competent authority of Govt. of A.P
7. Photograph duly pasted on the application form with attestation from Gazetted Officer.
8. Copies of experience Certificates from their employer and also NOC from the competent authority if they employed in Govt. Sector.
