National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad.
Total no. of seats : 10 (Ten)
Sponsored by : Telangana State Council for Science and Technology & Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India
Eligibility : At least Graduation in any of the Sciences and Technology disciplines like Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and biological Sciences, including Engineering disciplines, etc. Candidates with higher qualifications in the above disciplines are also eligible. (Applicants should NOT be pursuing any full-time course currently)
Duration : Six Months Full-time On-Campus Program
Monthly Stipend : Rs.10,000 per month
Screening Criteria : Interested eligible candidates should submit a Business Idea they are keen to pursue, preferably in Plant/Animal Biotechnology.
The applications received will be screened for eligibility.
The shortlisted candidates will have to present their business
idea to the Selection Panel. Final Selection will be notified.
(Applications received without business ideas will NOT be considered)
Note :
• The admissions are subject to verification of original certificates of Qualifying Degree, Aadhaar Card, SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificates wherever applicable.
• The selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging.
• Appropriate protocols issued by NIPER Hyderabad from time to time must be strictly adhered to.
