Opportunity for Pharmacist to join NPCIL

NPCIL, a premier Public Sector Enterprise under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India having comprehensive capability in all facets of Nuclear Technology namely, Site Selection, Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance, Renovation, Modernization & Upgradation, Plant Life Extension, Waste Management and Decommissioning of Nuclear Reactors in India under one root, invites online applications for the following posts at Katrapar Gujarat Site to share these challenging spectrum of responsibilities.

Essential Qualification and Experience : HSC (10+2) + 2 years diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.
Note : The date of registration as Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council should be on or before the closing date of online submission of application.


Age Limit as on Closing Date : 18 to 25 yrs Initial

Pay in Pay Matrix (As per 7th Central Pay Commission Revised Pay) : Rs. 29,200/- (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level - 5) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.
Those appointed for the above posts will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period. In addition to basic pay other allowances like Central Dearness Allowance, Children Education Assistance, Canteen Subsidy, Site Allowance, Cable TV Reimbursement, News Paper Reimbursement, Medical Assistance, Site Conveyance Allowance (optional), Accommodation, School facility etc. as admissible from time to time as per Corporation Rules will be granted.


Selection Process : Written Examination (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test) + Skill Test The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT)

(i) Candidates have to apply through online application form provided on the website npcilcareers.co.in only.
(ii)  The online application form will be available on the website www.npcilcareers.co.in from 06/12/2022 at 1000 hrs and will close on 05/01/2023 at 1600 hrs.
(iii)  It is mandatory to input all the relevant information (such as qualifying degree details, duration, percentage of marks, contact mobile number, e-mail address etc.) to complete the registration and get the Registration number. Candidates are therefore advised to keep such information ready before applying online.
(iv) Before applying online candidate should scan his/her photograph in JPG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions. The photograph uploaded will be printed on the Admit card/ Interview call letter and only the candidate whose photograph is printed on the Admit Card/Call letter will be allowed to appear for Written Examination/Personal Interview, if called for.
(v)  The photograph should be in colour, against a light colored, preferably white background and if you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
(vi)  Candidate must ensure that Photo to be uploaded is of required size and face should be clearly visible. If the photo is not uploaded at the place of Photo admission for examination will be rejected/ denied.
(vii)  The applicant has to ensure that the signature image should be clearly visible and has to sign on white paper with blue/black ink pen. Unsigned and signature in CAPITAL LETTERS shall be summarily rejected.
(viii) The signature image in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions to be uploaded at the space provided.
(ix) Detailed and step by step instructions regarding how to apply is available on the website.
(x) Candidates are requested to make a note of the login id and password, as he/she will need this login to the website to check her/his application status. An email will also be sent to the candidate with the application number.

Instructions to applicants for filling Online Application
I. Application will be accepted through ONLINE mode only. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/typewritten applications in hard format delivered in person or by other means shall not be entertained. No certificates/marksheets etc. are required to be submitted alongwith “online application form” except Project Affected Persons (PAP) documents, if applicable. No
II. The cut-off date for reckoning Maximum Age Limit and qualification would be last date of submitting online application i.e. 05/01/2023. The cut-off date for determining all eligibility criteria i.e. 05/01/2023 will remain the same even if the last date for submission of online application is extended for administrative/ technical reasons.
III. Exact percentage of marks should be mentioned in percentage of marks column. e.g. 59.9% should NOT be rounded off to 60%
IV. In case of candidates from Schools/Colleges/Institutions/Boards where scores in grade point average like CGPA/SGPA etc. are followed, they should produce a certificate from respective school/college/institution, conveying the equivalent percentages for the respective CGPA/SGPA scores etc. duly signed by Head of the school/college/institution at the time of personal interview/skill test/certificate verification.
V. Before submitting the online application form, the candidate must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria with respect to age, educational qualifications as published in the advertisement. Initial screening is primarily based on the information provided in the online application form. It is, therefore, strongly advised that all the details should be carefully and correctly entered in online application form. Candidates should ensure that they have pursued English as a subject in SSC/HSC level and should submit copies of certificate/marksheet issued by Board/University in support thereof at the time of personal interview/skill test.
VI. If at any stage of this recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in NPCIL and his/her application/ appointment will be rejected forthwith and NPCIL will not entertain any correspondence from these candidates:
If the candidates :
(a) Has provided wrong information or submitted false documents; or
(b) Has suppressed relevant information; or
(c) Does not meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post; or
(d) Has resorted to unfair means during the Written exam / Recruitment process; or
(e) Is found guilty of impersonation; or
(f) Has created disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the Written exam at the test or Interview venue; or
(g) Has uploaded non-human or irrelevant photograph.
VII. Only such persons, who suffers from 40% or more disability are eligible to be considered under PwBD as per “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016” and the shortlisted applicants shall produce a self-attested copy of prescribed certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority at the time of verification of certificates.
VIII. The OBC applicants who belong to "CREAMY LAYER" are not
entitled for OBC(NCL) concession and such applicants have to indicate their category as "UR".
IX.  Candidates for the post of ST/SA (Cat.I) –Science Graduates., shall input their exact physical standard i.e. Height & Weight in the appropriate column. The applications in which this column is not filled will be rejected as incomplete application.
X. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post. Request for change of discipline, post, test centre, test date and timing will not be entertained after submission of online application.

General Instructions
(i) Before applying for any post the candidate should ensure that she/he fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement.
(ii) Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail ID & phone number till the completion of recruitment process. NPCIL will send intimation/call letter for Written Examination /Personal Interview etc. only through the registered E-mail ID. SMS will also be sent to the candidate if an active mobile number for communication is provided. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), candidate will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration.
(iii) The SC/ST candidates who are not already in service of the Central/State/PSUs and called for written test from outstation will be paid to and fro II class railway fare or ordinary Bus fare on production of tickets excluding 30 km in both ways by the shortest route restricted to correspondence address indicated in the Application filled in while registering application. TA will be reimbursed through e-payment.
(iv) All candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/OBC(NCL)/PwBD category shall produce at the time of personal interview/skill test/documents verification, self attested copy of the valid caste certificate in the prescribed ‘Central Government’ format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate along with originals for verification. OBC candidates with certificate having the “Non-Creamy Layer Clause” only will be eligible for reservation as per Government of India guidelines and the caste should be in the Central List of OBC. Further, OBC(NCL) applicants if called for Personal Interview will have to give an undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category at the time of reporting for Personal Interview. (The date of issue of valid certificate for OBC(NCL) and EWS candidates should be on or before the last date of submission of application)
(v) If the SC/ST/EWS/OBC(Non Creamy Layer)/PwBD certificate has been issued in a language other than English/Hindi, the candidates will be required to submit a self-certified translated copy of the same either in English or Hindi.
(vi)  The candidate’s appointment will remain provisional subject to caste certificate being verified through proper channel and verification of testimonials. The candidate’s services will be liable to be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason in case the above verification reveals that his/her claim for belonging to SC/ST/EWS/OBC(NCL)/PwBD category and other testimonials is found false. The NPCIL also reserves its right to take such further action against the candidate, as it may deem proper, for production of such false caste certificate.
(vii)  Candidates working under Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of personal interview/skill test/certificate verification. Please note that candidates employed with Govt. Dept./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies will not be allowed for Personal Interviews/skill test/certificate verification without production of NOC.
(viii) PwBD candidates called for written test will be allowed to use assistive devices/scribe as per Government of India guidelines.
(ix) The recruitment process will consist of computer based tests, Physical standard verification (wherever applicable) and Personal Interview/Skill test (as applicable) in that order and/or as prescribed by the Corporation for recruitment of these posts from time to time. Only Screened-in applicants will be called for Written Examination/Physical standard verification/Personal Interview.
(x)  At the time of Personal Interview/Skill Test/Certificate Verification, shortlisted candidates are required to produce printout of the online application and admit card alongwith all original certificates for verification of date of birth proof (i.e. 10th Std. passing Certificate indicating Date of Birth OR School Leaving Certificate), caste, disabilities, qualification, experience (if any) etc. and certificate / authentic documents in original in support of any claim for relaxation of age along with self attested copies of all such certificates / documents (Formats can be downloaded from Downloads menu from the website). No candidate will be interviewed, if any of the required certificates / documents are not produced.

(xi) Appointment to the Stipendiary Traineeship will be subject to satisfactory reference check and verification of Character and Antecedents (C&A) and Special Security Questionnaire (SSQ) by the prescribed authority. Further, appointment will also be subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the standards prescribed for the post. The opinion of the Medical Officer authorized by NPCIL in this regard shall be final.
(xii) Mere fulfilling of norms will not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for computer based test/personal interview/skill test etc.
(xiii) Management reserves the right to fill up all the posts or alter the number of posts or even cancel/suspend/postpone the whole process of recruitment and also changing the recruitment criteria without any prior notice/assigning any reasons at any stage. Management may at its discretion, hold re-written exam/re-interview, wherever necessary in case of any eventualities.
(xiv) NPCIL reserves the right NOT to select a candidate for a post, if suitable candidate is/are not found. (xv) In case of any ambiguity/dispute arising on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English version shall prevail.
(xvi) All further information/corrigendum/addendum etc., if any, pertaining to this recruitment will be uploaded on npcilcareers.co.in from time to time. Please keep on referring this web portal.
(xvii) Records of the non-selected candidates shall not be preserved beyond six (06) months from the date of formation of select list.
(xviii) In case of any dispute, legal jurisdiction will be Dist. Tapi, Gujarat.
(xix) Only Indian Nationals can apply. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION.
