Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India.  Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963” and was renamed as “Indian Institute of Technology Delhi”. It was then accorded the status of a Deemed University with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Consolidated Pay-slab : Rs.31,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24%
Qualifications : Candidate should have M.Sc. or M.Tech in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry / relevant engineering disciplines with 70% marks with NET/GATE* examination.
i) Experience in immobilization, enzymology, biochemical techniques, hydrophilic polymeric membrane development, enzyme stabilization, clinical validation
ii) candidate should have worked on above biosensor technologies and any publication as first/joint author shall be added advantage .
iii) Candidates not having any experience in above areas need not apply. *The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).

Qualifications : Candidate should have M.Tech in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Sciences/ or relevant engineering disciplines or equivalent with atleast 70% marks with NET/GATE* examination.
i) Experience in circuit design, PCB designing and fabrication, Microcontroller programming, LabVIEW interfacing, Raspberry/Arduino programming, signal acquisition and conditioning, online signal filtering, Solidworks and AutoCAD designing, 3D printing, HMI GUI programmer
ii) Candidates not having any experience in above areas need not apply. *The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).

IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised qualification and requirement of the project post and their name will be displayed on web link (http://ird.iitd.ac.in/shortlisted) alongwith the online interview details. Only short-listed candidates will be informed for online interview.
