Walk in interview for Junior Research Fellow at IVRI | M.Pharm, M.Sc
Established in 1889, the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is one of the premier research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region. A walk in interview is scheduled at the Division of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Institute on 21-12-2018 at 10:30 AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow in DST funded project entitled ‘Pharmacodynamic modulation of cardiac angiotensin and adrenergic signaling in arsenic-exposed rats’. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.
Essential: M.Pharm or M.Tech/M.Sc. in life sciences (NET qualification is essential for M.Sc Candidates).
M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Pharmacology/Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology/ allied disciplines of Veterinary and Animal Sciences/ Graduate degree in professional courses with NET qualification.
• Working knowledge in molecular biology techniques such as q-PCR, Western blot, ELISA and Isolated organ experiments etc.
• Handling and management of laboratory rats.
• Knowledge in computer application and data management.
Emoluments: Rs.25,000 per month plus HRA admissible as per DST norms.
Age limit: 35 years (relaxation admissible for women candidates as per Govt. of India norms).
Duration/Period of the project: up to July, 2021
