Job Description
- Pharmacist should dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Pharmacist should answer patients' questions and troubleshoot medication issues
- Pharmacist should read, process and deliver prescriptions
- Advocating for patients’ compliance with medication guidelines.
- Reporting drugs' adverse reactions
- Maintaining current notes and paperwork related to the patient’s drug therapy and pharmacy care plan
- Reviewing medication orders and prescriptions and organizing medications for dispensing; preparing labels & calculating quantities
- Pharmacist should check pharmaceutical stock to assess inventory level; placing orders; removing outdated drugs
- Any other jobs assigned from time to time.
Candidate Profile
• Pharmacist should have knowledge of brand and generic drugs
• Pharmacist should have knowledge of medical terms, abbreviations and pharmacy calculations
• Pharmacist should maintain Pharmacy Equipment
• Pharmacist should Maintain records
• Pharmacist should monitor Supply of Drugs
• Pharmacist should monitor Prescription Inventory for Expired Drugs
• Pharmacist should process Customer Payments
• Pharmacist should resolveBilling Discrepancies
• Pharmacist should review Expiration Dates on Drugs
• Pharmacist should securing Inventory of Drugs
• Pharmacist should have Software Proficiency
