Post : CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER / HEAD (R&D)
Job Description
1. Identify, establish and execute strategic directions for R&D efforts of the company.
2. Develop operating plan and strategic objectives for making the Corporate R&D Centre as an independent organization and making it a self-sustainable institution.
3. Provide leadership focus and strategy to manage the Science, Technology and People.
4. Improve and expand R&D activities to cater to the company’s existing and new business.
5. Establishing basic priorities, ethical values, policies etc within the CRDC.
6. Contribute to culture of operational excellence and innovation initiatives for process improvements, cost savings and value creation.

• Conceptual ability and strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Leadership capabilities to translate the vision into flawless execution to deliver results.
• Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with various other research institutions and agencies.
• Ability to effectively negotiate MOUs/Contracts
• Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently under great pressure.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.

Consolidated pay :
Salary commensurate with qualification, age and experience. Initial appointment on Fixed Term Contract shall be for a period of 3 to 5 years extendable on need basis and depending on the performance of the candidate.
Qualification:
Any of these qualifications is essential
Essential: Ph.D in Science
Ph.D in Engineering
Ph.D in Medicine
Experience: Essential: Minimum 20 years of experience in reputed National / International / Industrial / Institute level research, development or technology management activities of which 10 years must be at senior level.
