Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. The core strength of IICT lies in Organic Chemistry, and it continues to excel in this field for over six decades. The research efforts during these years have resulted in the development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, organic intermediates, adhesives etc. More than 150 technologies developed by IICT are now in commercial production.

CSIR-IICT is conducting Walk-in-lnterview for the following positions on a purely temporary basis for the sponsored projects at 10.00 A.M on 19th December 2014 at IICT Hyderabad:

Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc ( Chemistry) Desireble:2-3 years of experience

Research Associate (1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: PhD in materials science with good publications

Sl.No. 4 Project Title: Development of nano bio formulation and their impact on plants and insect communities
Project Assistant-II (1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc (Life Sciences) with 1-2 year experience on nano-bioformulation & insect plant interactions and evaluations

Sl.No. 5 Project Title: Chemo-biological studies on red sanders for value addition and quality standards
Project Assistant-II (2)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc(Organic Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Applied Chemistry)

Project Assistant-III (1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Pharm (Pharmacology) or M.Sc(Biochemistry) with two years experience

Sl.No. 5 Project Title: Insecticidal and Antimicrobial Activity of Biologically Manufactured Nano materials from Ocean Resources for agricultural use
Research Associate (1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D in Biotechnology / Plant Sciences / Entomology or Life sciences with publications in good journals, research experience in general lab techniques, biochemical analysis, etc.. Desirable: Should be able to extract botanical compounds and their chemical isolations, experience in biosynthesis of nanoparticales from biological resources & sound knowledge on carrying out antimicrobial and insecticidal activity assays.

Experience is preferred for all the above positions.
* Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/WOMEN and 3 years for OBC

The Selection will be on the basis of Interview. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months/one year, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored project and does not entitle him/her for the CSIR/IICT post/fellowship.

Eligible candidates may download the application form from our website www.iictindia.org and appear for Interview along with the duly filled in application form supported by Bio-data and one set of attested photo copies of Certificates of educational qualification, age, experience, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), latest passport size photograph and the candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
