Post : Research Associate-I (01 position)
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for the project position(s) as per the details given below for the research project(s) under the Principal Investigator Prof. Gopinath Packirisamy, Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
Title of the Project : Development of cost-effective and point-of-care biosensor for detection of Alzheimer's disease
Sponsor of the Project : DBT, New Delhi
Qualifications
Essential : PhD in Biotechnology / Life sciences / Biomedical Engineering / Equivalent
Desirable : Minimum 2 first-author research publications in SCI-indexed journals in the field of Biosensor/Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum 1 patent granted or applied (mention application number).
Emoluments : Rs. 58,000 per month + 10% HRA
Duration : 15 months or till project completion (02 December 2027), whichever is earlier.
Job Description : Expertise in development of biosensor / device and nanotechnology / material science

• Detailed CV including chronological details of educational qualifications.

• Details of research, industrial, and other experience.
• Self-attested copies of degree certificates and experience certificates as a single PDF.
3. Candidates must bring the original degree certificates and experience certificates for verification at the time of joining.
4. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates having equal qualifications and experience.

Venue : BSBE Department, Faculty Meeting Room, Ground Floor.
