NIAB offers Fellowships for Professional Course candidates

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, against a DBT-funded project.

Project title : “Exploring how Theileria parasites repress host gene expression (PARA REPRESS)” PI: Dr. Anand Srivastava, Scientist-E.
Duration : One Year

Fellowship amount : Rs.37000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines
Age : 30 years

Eligibility : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholarship who are selected through National Eligibility Test -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions as per DST Guidelines

Desired Experience : Candidate with experience in epigenomics, cancer biology, molecular biology, cell culture, and bioinformatics will be given preference.

Note : Only Provisional Degree Certificate or Convocation Degree Certificate will be accepted as proof of educational qualification. Experience certificates must be issued by the Head of the Department/Office.
