Department : Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
Qualification : M.Pharm / M.Sc. (Registered Patent Agent preferred)
Location : Hyderabad, India
Experience : 6–10 years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Patent Drafting & Filing
• Drafting and filing global patent applications (PCT, US, EP, WO, India & ROW)
• IP protection covering novel crystalline forms, polymorphs, salts, co-crystals, formulations, synthetic processes and intermediates.
Patent Prosecution
• Managing and responding to Office Actions/FERs before USPTO, EPO, IPO and other global patent offices.
Patent Landscape & FTO
• Conducting comprehensive patent searches for early-stage API and formulation projects
• Preparing FTO, clearance and non-infringement assessments
Design-Around Strategies
• Collaborating with API, formulation and R&D teams to develop non-infringing alternatives, including polymorphs, salts and formulation technologies
Patent Litigation & Generic Strategy
• Supporting Paragraph IV / Hatch-Waxman strategies
• Generics and 505(b)(2) IP strategy
• Preparing invalidity and non-infringement analyses
Licensing & IP Transactions
• Supporting IP due diligence for in-licensing/out-licensing
• Technology transfers, co-development agreements and product acquisitions
