Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01) with emolument of Rs. 37,000/-pm + HRA 18% in a DBT-sponsored Project (BT/PR65568/BMS2/156/467/2025) entitled “Investigating the role of non-coding RNA CDIR-4 in immune evasion strategies in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas” sanctioned for three years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications : The Candidate should hold M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related area with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should have qualified NET/GATE to be eligible for this position.
Age Limit : The upper age limit is 28 years: (5 years relaxation for female/SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/Physically Handicapped Candidate). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. The candidate with experience in the relevant area will be preferred.
Desirable Qualifications : A candidate with basic knowledge of cell culture, animal experiments, and molecular biology techniques such as RT-qPCR, ChIP-qPCR will be preferred. Additionally, candidates with experience in non-coding RNA and epigenetics will be given preference.
