Assam Pharmacy Council Invites Online Applications for Registrar Post

The office of the Assam Pharmacy council is situated at Pharmacy Bhawan, Hengrabari, Guwahati, Pin - 781036 (Assam), in the campus of Director of Health Services, Assam. Assam Pharmacy Council is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Assam under the provisions of the Pharmacy Act 1948 to regulate the profession and practice of Pharmacy in the State of Assam.

Walk-in Interview for the Post of Registrar, Assam Pharmacy Council, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with permanent residence of Assam must possess
• M.Pharm. with minimum 5 (five) years of professional experience; OR
• B.Pharm. with minimum 10 (ten) years of professional experience with valid
registration number of Assam Pharmacy Council.

Professional experience shall mean service rendered by a graduate pharmacist in any of the following fields :
• Drugs Control Department of Government;
• College of Pharmaceutical Sciences;
• State or Central Hospital;
• Government-recognized University;
• Government-owned Factory;
• Research Organization;
• Medical Detailing:
• Drugs Sales Organization; or
• Clinical Trials / Legal Consultancy related to Drugs.

Age Limit : Below 60 years.

Nature of Appointment
• The appointment shall be on contract basis.
• Consolidated remuneration Rs. 65,000/- per month.
• Initial tenure shall be one (1) year, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance, subject to Government approval, up to a maximum period of five (5) years.
• The selected candidate shall undergo a probation period of six (6) months.

General Conditions
1. Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post.
2. Mere appearance in the interview shall not confer any right for appointment.
3. The Assam Pharmacy Council reserves the right to accept or reject any candidature without assigning any reason.
4. Canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification.
5. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.
6. The appointment shall be governed by the criteria and conditions issued by the Government of Assam.
7. Candidate needs to submit standard form of application along with all educational certificate during the time of interview.
