The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is a Medical Institute of Ranchi University in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, India. The college is an autonomous body established under an act of Jharkhand Assembly and is one of the premier medical colleges in the state and India. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences The institute was established in 1960 and was originally called Rajendra Medical College Hospital after Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The Medical College Hospital came into existence in February 1965.Dr N.L. Mitra was the first principal of the college. Dr. K.P. Shrivastava was the first director of the Institute after it was renamed.Currently RIMS is in news for its up gradation. The Institute provides free medical service to the patients along with essential drugs.

Eligibility criteria
Essential : B.Sc 4 years programme/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS.MSc/BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Desirable : Knowledge of computer word document, excel and other computer application including Al.
Candidates have Knowledge of technical experience in co¬ordination of Research project.
Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Salary per month : Rs. 45,000/- per month Consolidated
Project Technical Support-II (One Post)
Eligibility criteria
Essential : 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT)+Five-year Experience in relevant subject.
Desirable : B.Sc. /M.Sc. Biochemistry /Life Science / Work experience in diagnostic laboratory / ELISA /Immunoassay test/ Biochemical tests/ working experience in research project, knowledge of computer application/ report preparation.
Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years
Salary per month : Rs. 20,000/- per month Consolidated

Important Note for Applicants :
• The candidates will have to report for interview on 14.08.2026 Dean Research office, RIMS, Ranchi, latest up to 10:00 AM.
• Only those who have obtained a degree as a regular student will be considered.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending Walk-in-interview.
• Age relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per the Govt, of Jharkhand rules.
• Age and eligibility criteria may be relaxed in case of suitable candidates if previous working experience in clinical trial.
• Appointment will be on contractual basis for a period of six months or till the end of project, whichever is applicable on the basis of preformation candidate.
• Decision of the PI will be final in any case of confusion.
• No claims shall be made for permanent position in the current advertised position.
• During or after the appointment if performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the competent authority, the appointment can immediately any time without assigning any reason.
