Applications are invited for the position of ONE Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in the CCRAS-sponsored collaborative project entitled “Pharmaceutical Development and Standardization of a Lodhradi Yonivarti, Ayush LPM Vaginal Tablet, and Ayush LPM Vaginal Gel, along with its Evaluation of Vaginal Irritation Study, Shelf-life, and Antimicrobial Study” under the supervision of undersigned. The Position is temporary and is available immediately up to the tenure of the project or based on the candidate's performance each year.
Walk-in-interview for SRF position under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India funded project
Duration : 2 years or up to the termination of the project.
PI : Dr. Keerti Jain, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics
Essential Qualifications : M.Pharm / M.Pharm (Ayurveda) / M.S. (Pharmaceutical Science) from a recognized University and Institution.
Desirable Qualification : A candidate with GPAT/GATE/NET qualification and having the knowledge of formulation development and standardization technique (HPLC, UV-Vis, and FTIR), knowledge of drug-excipient interaction studies, and hands-on experience in preclinical irritation/biocompatibility studies will be preferred.
Preference will be given to those who possess :
a) Higher qualifications or those who have previous relevant research experience on the development of pharmaceutical formulations and their characterization and evaluation.
b) Experience of working on any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or Equivalent organization.
c) Skills in drafting and editing scientific documents/articles/ technical reports, etc.
d) Publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
e) Working knowledge of computers.
Upper age Limit : 32 Years (as on 01.01.2025) The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST, physically handicapped, and female candidates and by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Emoluments : SRF - Rs. 42,000 p.m. + HRA (as per norms)
Candidates may also note the following points :
1. NIPER Raebareli reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates.
2. The project team will have the right to put any screening criteria in case of large numbers of applications/applicants.
3. The committee also reserves the right not to select any candidate in case candidates are not found suitable for the post applied. 4. The interview will be held tentatively on 22nd August 2025 at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli Bijnor-Sisendi Road, Sarojini Nagar, Near CRPF Base Camp, Lucknow.
5. Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview. The candidate should come along with their original certificates at 11:00 am (Reporting time) on the scheduled date.
6. The above post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the completion of the duration of the project.
