JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. Application invited from eligible candidate for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for SERB-CRG project titled “Understanding the molecular basis of skeletal muscle wasting in cancer cachexia” under the supervision of Dr. Vinay Kumar M B, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Medical Genetics, JSS Medical College.
Qualification : MSc. in Biochemistry / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences or M.Pharma in Pharmacology with research experience in handling Nude mice, Xenograft experiments and handling mammalian cell lines is must.
Project tenure : 3 years
Salary : 31,000/- + 16% HRA
