Post : Research Associate-I
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary post of Research Associate-I, in an ICMR funded project.
Title of the Project : Designing novel inhibitory molecules to quench quorum sensing in Gram- negative bacteria
Funding Agency : Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
Salary : As per ICMR Rules
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or allied field Experience in molecular Biology techniques, purification and crystallization of proteins will be preferred
Job Description : Express, clone, purify and crystallize proteins related to project and determine their structure, conduct biophysical and microbiological experiments *
The candidate will need to co-ordinate and work with collaborators both intra- and inter-institutional, present the data in peer group and write progress reports. Travel to different institutes within NCR may be required to conduct experiments.
