The Central Government Health Scheme was started in 1954 with the objective of providing comprehensive medical care to the Central Government employees, both serving and pensioners and their dependent family members. The scheme is also providing service to members and former members of parliament, judges of Supreme Court and High Court, freedom fighters, former Governors and former Vice-Presidents of India.

CENTRAL GOVT HEALTH SCHEME under administrative control of Additional Director, CGHS, Ahmedabad is inviting retired staff from Central Govt./State Govt./PSUs and Autonomous bodies with application for a walk-in-selection on 25/08/2022 at 11 AM for filling up the following vacant posts on Contract basis for a period of 180 days or till the posting of regular staff, whichever is earlier.
Age : Below 65 years
Monthly Remuneration : 25,500/-*
Place of Posting : Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar
As indicated or “last pay drawn minus pension fixed” whichever is less.
Eligible candidate may present at the above address in person for selection with application alongwith educational Certificate, Pension Payment Order, Last pay Certificate and relieving order (in original and one self attested copy), passport size photo. Contract will be for a period of 180 days and may be extended on performance basis till posts are filled on regular basis.
