King George's Medical University is situated in the heart of the historic city of Lucknow which is the capital of India 's most populous state Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow lies about 500 km east of Delhi . The city was the seat of the Nawabs of Awadh in the 19 th century and a centre for the arts - music, painting, dance, 'shatranj' or chess, kite flying and 'tehzeeb' or culture. The university campus adjoins the crowded 'Chowk' area and is off Shahmina Road , very close to the bank of River Gomti.

Research Assistant - 01
Salary : Rs,31,O00/- per month consolidated
Essential Qualifications : Post graduate degree in Virology / Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology. Candidates having experience in molecular biology and knowledge of patient recruitment and Data analysis will be preferred.
Age : As per Norms

National Program for Surveillance of Viral Hepatitis- Funded by NHM

Technical Officer - 01
Salary : 25,000/- per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Medical Microbiology with 1 year experience in clinical laboratory services. Candidates with Ph.D Medical Microbiology from recognized university with 3 months experience in clinical laboratory services will be preferred.

Pharmacist - 01 (One)
Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month consolidated
Essential Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized institute.
If candidate with degree is not available, diploma holder in pharmacy with 3 years of experience in health care institution can be considered and must be registered in the concerned State Pharmacy Council.

The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this institute, as the engagement is co-terminus with the Project.
