Other General Instructions Regarding Filling Out the Application
While submitting the application, clear, self-attested photocopies of all necessary certificates and documents—pertaining to educational qualifications, work experience, caste status, etc.—must be attached. Applications containing incomplete information or lacking the requisite documents will not be accepted.
I. Candidates are required to possess knowledge of the Marathi language; specifically, they must be able to read, write, and speak Marathi.
II. In the event that suitable candidates from reserved categories are not available, candidates from other categories may be appointed on a temporary basis; therefore, eligible candidates from all categories are encouraged to submit their applications.
III. If an applicant is married, a photocopy of their Marriage Registration Certificate—along with a photocopy of the Government Gazette notification (if applicable) regarding any change of name—must be submitted along with the application. Furthermore, should the applicant be selected, it is mandatory to produce the original certificates/documents during the verification process.
IV. Only the date of birth recorded in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) must be entered in the application form.
V. Information regarding gender and marital status must be accurately provided in the application form.
VI. It is mandatory for the candidate to provide their own valid email ID, a current mobile number, and an alternate mobile number in the application form. As deemed necessary—specifically regarding selection for the list of eligible/ineligible candidates—instructions concerning the verification of original documents will be communicated to eligible candidates via email. Furthermore, a merit-based list of candidates selected for appointment from among the eligible applicants will also be published on the official website. Therefore, candidates must ensure that their provided email IDs remain active until the entire recruitment process is concluded; the responsibility for checking their email periodically rests solely with the candidates. Additionally, regarding this contractual recruitment process, the list of eligible/ineligible candidates, as well as all necessary instructions and updates, will be published periodically on this office's official website : mbmc.gov.in. Consequently, it is mandatory for candidates to visit and check the website regularly.
VII. It is mandatory for the candidate to declare that they are a Domicile of the State of Maharashtra. A clear photocopy of the prescribed Domicile Certificate must be submitted along with the application form; furthermore, should the candidate be selected for appointment, they are required to produce the original Domicile Certificate during the document scrutiny process.
VIII. The candidate must accurately provide details regarding their religion and caste category. If a candidate belongs to a Reserved Category, they must submit a clear photocopy of the prescribed Caste Certificate; should they be selected for appointment, they are required to produce the original Caste Certificate during the document scrutiny process. Please note that if a candidate belonging to a Reserved Category fails to submit the requisite Caste Certificate, their application will not be considered for selection.
IX. Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Denotified Tribes and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT), Special Backward Classes (SBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) must submit a valid 'Non-Creamy Layer' certificate (certifying that they do not belong to the 'Creamy Layer' group). If selected, it will be mandatory to produce the original certificate during the document verification process. Failure to submit the required certificate will result in the rejection of such candidates' applications.
X. Candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) categories must submit the respective EWS Certificate and SEBC Certificate. If selected, the original certificate must be produced during the document verification process.
XI. Applicants must accurately provide their current address as well as their permanent address.
9) Computer Proficiency : Candidates possessing computer qualifications (such as an MS-CIT certificate) must provide the relevant details and attach a copy of the certificate with the application.
10) 'Small Family' Certificate:
I. In accordance with Government policy, candidates are required to adhere to the 'Small Family' norm.
II. A clear photocopy of the 'Small Family' declaration certificate must be submitted along with the application. Furthermore, if selected, the candidate is required to produce the original 'Small Family' certificate during the document verification process.

11) Candidate's Photograph and Signature : Candidates must submit a recent, clear photograph and their self-attested signature along with the application form.
General Instructions
I. Candidates are required to fill out the application form using the specific template provided.
II. The National Health Mission (NHM), the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), the 15th Finance Commission, and the 'Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Davakhana' are distinct and independent mission programs. Consequently, the services and benefits applicable to employees working under the National Health Mission and the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme shall not be extended to contractual employees selected under the 15th Finance Commission or the 'Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Davakhana' schemes.
III. In the event of any changes to the programs or missions—arising from approvals granted by the Central or State Government—the number of posts or the reservation quotas may be subject to alteration as deemed appropriate to the prevailing circumstances.
IV. All candidates are hereby advised to take note that applications for this recruitment drive will be accepted only if submitted via Registered Post or delivered by hand within the stipulated deadline. Candidates opting to send their applications via Registered Post must ensure that the application reaches the office within the prescribed timeframe—specifically, by 5:00 PM on 04/05/2026. The said posts are being filled in accordance with the approvals granted under the Project Implementation Plan (PIP); consequently, changes in the number of posts and reservation categories are envisaged based on the PIP approvals. Therefore, the number of vacant contractual posts and the reservation categories mentioned in this advertisement are subject to change.
VII. The posts mentioned in this advertisement are purely contractual in nature and do not constitute regular government posts. These posts bear no relation to regular government cadres, and candidates shall have no right to claim absorption or regularization into any regular post under the State Government.
VIII. The remuneration specified for the contractual posts in this advertisement constitutes a consolidated lump-sum honorarium.
IX. Candidates who apply for these contractual posts in response to this advertisement and are deemed eligible for appointment shall be posted/appointed, as per requirement, to any vacant position within any health institution operating under the Public Health Department of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation.
