Pharma Fellowship in Central Ayurveda Research Institute

National Vrkshayuuveda Research Institute (NVARI) Jhansi established in the year 1973, renamed as Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Dec 2020, is engaged in the research with the focus mandate, i. conduct medicio-botanical exploration in parts of Central India ii. Collect and supply genuine raw drug materials for R&D work iii. To build up repositories for medicinal plants and crude drugs iv. To established herbal garden and carrying out cultivation of medicinal plants for Ayurveda. The Institute has developed a good herbarium where more than 24000 accessioned specimens of 205 families, 1129 genera and 2563 species are housed and maintained.

Title of the IMR Collaborative Project : ‘Pharmaceutical Development of Textile- Based Novel Medicated Dressings (Ayush J, Ayush JM, Ayush JTM) for Wound Healing from Classical Ayurvedic Formulations'
Duration : 10 Months
Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.01.2026
Pay : Rs. 42000 + HRA (20%)/ Month

Essential Education Qualifications : M.Pharm / M. Pharm (Ayurveda) / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technology from a recognized University/ Institution OR Essential :
(i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent with NET-CSIR/ GATE/ GPAT, etc., and
(ii) Two years' experience in the field of Research and Development OR
(i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent;
(ii) Four years' experience in the field of Research and Development

Desirable : a) Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualifications or who have previous research experience on Ayush & H drugs preparation and their standardization,
b) Having worked on any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST, or an equivalent organization.
c) Skills in drafting and editing of scientific documents/articles/ technical reports, etc.
d) Publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
e) Working knowledge of computers.

General Terms and Conditions
1. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis, and co-terminus with the Project, and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates with respect to age will be determined as on 01.01.2026, and relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC, etc. candidates as per the Govt. of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. The candidates are required to report along with all original certificates, self-attested photocopies as mentioned, and photographs.
