IISER-Mohali (Department of Biological Sciences) desires to engage on purely temporary basis on contract under the ANRF project entitled “Understanding the role of uncharacterized sorting nexin protein, SNX29, in lysosome cargo sorting from early endosomes."

Duration : Initially for 1 year and extendable for duration of the project
Essential and Desirable Qualification : Applicants should hold an M.Sc/B.Tech degree in either Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, and Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks. Prior experience of at least ~6 months in immunofluorescence as well as molecular biology techniques (including gene cloning, recombinant protein production, and SDS-PAGE) is required for this position. Prior experience of live-cell imaging and subsequent data analysis is preferred.
Emoluments : Emoluments as per norms and as sanctioned in the project.
