IITI-ANRF National Postdoctoral Fellowship

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF) position in the research project: “SAKSHAM - Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials”, sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under IITI- ANRF PAIR Theme-2 Environmental Sustainability and Energy Technology.

The project will be implemented at the Hub institution i.e. Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Khandwa Road, Simrol, along with the spoke institutions i.e. Samrat Vikramaditya Vishwavidyalay, Ujjain

National Postdoctoral Fellowship - 01

Eligibility
• PhD in Chemistry / Biomass Conversion / Animal Biotechnology / Plant Biotechnology / Molecular Biology
• The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
• The candidate must have 2 research publications and at least one research publication published or accepted within the last two year as First Author or Corresponding Author in a reputed, peer- reviewed journal.
• Candidates with a granted patent will be given preference

Desirable Qualification
• The candidate should have a basic knowledge of all aspects of synthetic Organic chemistry and hand on experience in performing synthetic research projects.
• Prior research experience aligned with the thematic areas

Duration : Initial appointment will be for one year
Fellowship : Rs. 80,000/- + 20% HRA (as per norms) p.m.
Age Limit : As per ANRF norms

The CV should include details of academic grades starting from the 10th standard onwards with details of the year of passing, institute/university/college, etc., hands-on experience, and nature of work if applicable. If a candidate has a valid GATE/NET score, details such as year of passing, discipline, marks and all- India rank should be mentioned in the CV. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

General Information
1) The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Candidate is expected to join immediately.
2) Candidates must bring their updated CV include details of academic grades starting from the 10th standard onwards, original certificates, self- attested copies of all supporting documents, and a recent passport- size photograph at the time of interview. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
3) If a candidate has a valid GATE/NET score, details such as year of passing, discipline, marks and all-India rank should be mentioned in the CV.
4) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5) Remuneration is taxable as per the norms.
6) The position is initially valid for 1 year only and the contract can be extended based on satisfactory performance until the completion of the tenure.
7) The project Manpower will not be entitled to any allowances such as Bonus, Gratuity, LTC, DA, CCA etc.
8) The Project Manpower will be entitled for leaves as per the project guidelines and no encashment of leave shall be applicable.
9) Mere possessing the essential qualification will not entitle any candidate a right to be considered eligible for the post.
10) Candidates who have completed their degree with requisite educational qualifications only need to apply.
11) IITI reserves the right to not fill up /cancel the post advertised without assigning any reason.
12) Please also bring TWO recommendation letters on the OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD OF THE REFEREE.

Mode of Interview : The interview will be conducted in hybrid mode at IIT Indore. Details of the interview with Google Meet link will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
