Project title : Deciphering the Epigenetic Regulation of Compatible Pollination in Arabidopsis thaliana

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration including HRA : Rs. 72,000-84,000/- per month (including HRA of ₹ 11,000/- per month, as per institute norms)
House Rent Allowance per month (If applicable) : Rs.11,000/- per month
Duration of appointment : 1 year (renewed annually based on extension criteria)

Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms : PhD in Plant biology, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics or allied subject areas from reputed institutes. Demonstrated publication record with first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals. The candidate should possess strong technical skills in molecular biology, genetics, computational biology and bioinformatics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.

Desirable Qualification / Experience : Demonstrated expertise in plant epigenetics
• Hands-on experience with chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and next-generation sequencing approaches such as ChIP-seq • Experience in RNA-seq data generation and analysis, including differential gene expression and pathway analysis
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and pipelines for analysis of epigenomic and transcriptomic datasets
• Experience with advanced molecular biology techniques
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to present at international conferences
