Applications are invited for engagement of Project Staff under the GSBTM funded project entitled “Design and evaluation of formulation for management of cutaneous complications induced by chemotherapeutics: A gentle touch in the face of adversity” in the Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER-Ahmedabad.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (One 01)
The position is available initially for a period of 01 year and may be extended further for 01 year based on the candidate’s satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.

Project Title : Design and evaluation of formulation for management of cutaneous complications induced by chemotherapeutics : A gentle touch in the face of adversity.
Principle Investigator : Dr. Aakanchha Jain, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics
Engagement Tenure : The position is initially for 01 year and further extendable for another 01 year subject to the performance of the candidate & continuation of the project. The position shall be co-terminus with the project.
Salary : Rs.31,000/- plus HRA as per applicable rate.
Essential Qualification :
• M.pharma /M.S. Pharma /MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Biotechnology or equivalent with specialization in Pharmacy/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with hands on experience in cell culture and animal studies for skin diseases.
• P.G. degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized university / Institute, autonomous bodies NIPERs/IITs/IISERs.
• Publications (at least one) in standard refereed journals. Desired Qualifications: GATE/CSIR NET/UGC NET/GPAT qualified.
Work Experience
Essential work Experience : Prior experience in animal tissue culture, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
Desired work Experience : Previous experience in testing of formulations on cancer cell lines.
Other Terms & Conditions : The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.
