North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR), an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Ayush, Govt, of India, hereby invite application from Indian Citizens Regular serving employee of Central Government/ State Government/Autonomous Organization for the following post to be filled by Deputation /Direct Recruitment as mentioned against each posts. Eligible candidates may submit their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates and testimonials, along-with one recent passport size photograph. Eligibility Criteria : For Direct Recruitment
Essential
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Botany Pharmacology / M. Pharma (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized university.
(ii) 5 Years research experience and or academic experience in Pharmacognosy drug standardization.
(iii) With Minimum 2 publications in peer viewed index journals.
Desirable
Ph.D in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology.
II. For Deputation Including short term contract (for a period of three years extendable by another 2 years)
Officers of Central Government, State Government, Statutory Organization, Autonomous bodies, PSL's, University or Research Institution holding analogous post on regular basis having essential educational qualification prescribed tor direct recruitment.

Persons with qualification prescribed for direct recruitment and 3 years regular service in the scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400)
OR
Persons with qualification prescribed for direct recruitment and 8 years regular services in the scale of PB-2 (Rs. 9300- 34800 + GP Rs. 4800)

General Information and Conditions
• All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on the last date oi receipt of the applications. Applicants are advised to satisfy themselves that they possess essential qualification, experience and fulfill all conditions of eligibility hi id down for the post applied for.
• The age relaxation for reserved category candidate shall he admissible only in case of vacancies reserved lor such categories.
• Candidates who have already applied for the post of Associate Professor (Ayurveda) in the subject Kriya Sharir on deputation basis against Serial No. I of Advertisement No. 4/2023 shall not be required to submit a fresh application. However, such candidates who intend to have any additional qualification(s) and/or experience considered are required to submit a fresh application, duly incorporating the same.
• In compliance with the order of the Hon’ble High Court in WP(C)/352/2019? the overage of the petitioners shall be condoned, taking into consideration that they have been pursuing their grievance be to re the Hon’ble Court since 2019 for the post of Ethnobotanist, Pharmucognosist & Herbarium Curator/Mueseum Curator.
• The selection process for the post of Ethnobotanist, Pharmacognosist & Herbarium Curator/Mueseum Curator shall be conducted at Pasighat. or at a suitable place within the State of Arunachal Pradesh, as directed by the Hon'ble High Court.
• In ease of posts specified as to be tilled up by “Deputation failing which by Direct Recruitment . the Institute will first call candidate eligible for Deputation. In case no application is received tor deputation OR no suitable candidate is found for selection, the Institute will consider candidates for Direct Recruitment.
• The prescribed essential eligibility criteria arc minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for Interview. The Competent Authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of higher qualifications years of experience in the subject, by holding screening test or any other criteria deemed proper.
• Application duly completed and forwarded by competent authority of present employer, should reach the Institute by last date i.e., 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay/lapse on the part of Indian postal service or any other reasons whatsoever. The candidates may submit an advance copy of their applications to the Institute in anticipation of the clearance of the department so that they are considered during preliminary scrutiny. However, their candidature will be finally considered only after receipt of application through proper channel before the closing date. It shall be necessary to furnish clearance certificates/'No Objection Certificate from the sponsoring authority present employer to the effect that the candidate will be relieved from the present assignment in the event of his/her selection.

• The upper age limit for appointment by deputation shall be 56 years as on the closing date of application.
• The period of deputation will be for 3 years.
• This post carry allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees and as made applicable to North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR) employees.

• Application Fee : Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only)
for Group ‘A' posts, and Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for Group *C posts shall be remitted by candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category shall remit Rs.750/- (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) for Group ‘A' posts, anti ?250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) for Group posts.
The application fee should be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Director, NEIAFMR, Pasighat". payable at Pasighat. Arunachal Pradesh. Applicants applying through Deputation are exempted from payment of the application fee.
On the reverse side of the Demand Draft, candidates must clearly mention their name, category, and the post applied for.
• Canvassing in any form may lead to disqualification of the applicant for appointment to the post and same will brought to the notice of their parent department for taking further action against them.

• One recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the top right-hand comer of the application duly signed across by the candidate himself herself.
