Qualifications
Ph.D Genomics / Bioinformatics / life sciences OR equivalent degree
OR
M.SC/M.Tech Bioinformatics/Human genetics degree from a recognized University or equivalent with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Candidates with experience of 4 years in analyzing genomic sequencing data, including DNA sequencing. RNA-Seq, and whole-genome sequencing data, familiarity with genomic databases, standard protocols and pipelines, as well as the ability to develop custom pipelines and mastery over tools like FastQC, trimmomatic and HISAT2 for quality control, alignment, quantification and analysis would be given preference.
