A walk-in interview for the following post under the project: “Technological innovations for development of functional foods from ethnic fermented foods of the Indian Himalayas” under the Himalayan Bioresource Mission, funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
Post : Research Associate-I (01)
Age Limit : 40 Years
Fellowship / Consolidated pay : Rs. 58,000 + 8 % HRA per month
Duration : 11 months or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier
Qualification : PhD in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Food Technology/ Life Sciences
(Desirable : Good exposure to Food Microbiology and Fermented Food Research)
1. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim a regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit for the above-mentioned post is relaxable for reserved categories as per GOI norms.
4. Name of the project and applied position should be clearly written on the front of the envelope containing the application form in BLOCK LETTERS.
5. Application form should accompany self-attested copies of educational certificates and mark sheets along with the birth certificate.
6. Candidates must apply in the prescribed format.
Walk in interview will be held on 06th May, 2026 at 10:00 AM at BRIC-IBSD, Sikkim centre, Gangtok.
