Post : Research Assistant
Qualification required
Graduate in science/ relevant subjects/from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution. OR Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable Qualification
1. Proficiency in Computer handling and MS Word, Excel, Power Point, knowledge of statistical tools.
2. Experience in data collection, data analyses, data handling and report writing
3. Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Remuneration : Rs. 31,000/- pm fixed
Age Limit : up to 30 years (relaxable by 5 years for ST candidates)
Period of engagement : From the date of appointment till duration of the project (up to 1y)
Nature of Duty : 1. Assisting in conducting, monitoring and co-ordinating the activities of the project. Communicating, writing emails, letters, processing bills.
2. Any other duty assigned by the PI
The Terms and Conditions for the post are as follows :
1. The posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis.
2. Incomplete/late applications will be rejected.
3. Applications without signature will be rejected.
4. Application will only be accepted in the prescribed format.
5. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/ interview.
6. Any canvassing on behalf of the candidate or attempting to bring external influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be considered as DISQUALIFICATION.
7. One time age relaxation for staff working in ICMR Projects at ICMR Institute/Centres will be allowed. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per DOPT rules.
8. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ILBS or continuation of their services in any other project.
9. In case a large number of applications are received, the applications may be further screened according to qualification and experience for selecting candidates eligible for interview.
10. Experience will be counted only after completion of essential educational qualification.
11. Selection shall be by competitive test and/or interview.
12. The eligible candidates will be called for personal discussion virtually/ physically at ILBS D1 vasant kunj, New Delhi – 110 029 on the date and time which will be announced later on.
13. No benefit of Provident Fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the posts are on purely temporary/ad-hoc basis.
14. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-personal discussion/ Virtual interview/written test.
15. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. 16. ILBS holds the right to cancel the advertised post(s) without issuing any reason thereof.
17. Proof of Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority is mandatory for this post.
