Project Title : Regulation of Seed Oil Biosynthesis by Light Signaling in Brassicaceae
About the Project : This project aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms by which light signaling regulates seed oil biosynthesis in model and crop species in Brassicaceae. The work combines plant molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and omics approaches to generate new insights with potential applications in crop improvement.
Eligibility
• M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Plant Sciences / Biochemistry / Genetics or related disciplines.
• Prior research experience with Brassica crops and analytical techniques such as GC-MS will be an advantage.
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- per month for candidates who cleared GATE (with a valid score) or NET-Lectureship (CSIR-UGC).
• Rs. 30,000/- per month for candidates without NET/GATE.
