The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. It was a time when the industry was still in a nascent stage and the country was heavily dependent on an assortment of imported goods from the developed or fast developing countries. The deployment of manpower in manufacturing processes was limited to a few select industries such as jute, textile, chemicals etc. The legislation on creation and development of a fool proof multi-dimensional Social Security system, when the country's economy was in a very fledgling state was obviously a remarkable gesture towards the socio economic amelioration of a workface though limited in number and geographic distribution. India, notwithstanding, thus, took the lead in providing organized social protection to the working class through statutory provisions.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Scientist at ESIC Medical College, Medical College Hospital and Super Speciality Hospital Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. The details of vacancies and reservation position are as under
Senior Research Scientist
Educational Qualifications : • MD or Ph.D in life Sciences/Molecular Biology / computational Biophysics / Chemical Sciences / Pharmaceutical Science / Engineering / Proteomics or relevant Branch from a recognize University.
• 3 years of relevant research experience in research project from an Institution / Organisation of National Eminence.
Age Limit (As on the Closing Date of Application) : 45 years
Research Scientist
Educational Qualifications :
• MD or Ph.D in life Sciences/Molecular Biology/computational Biophysics/Chemical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Science/ Engineering/ Proteomics or relevant Branch from a recognize University.
• One year of relevant research experience in research project from an Institution/Organisation of National Eminence.
Age Limit (As on the Closing Date of Application) : 40* years
* The age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. Mere submission of online application does not confirm eligibility criteria or confer any right to the candidate for selection.
ii. Online score of the applicants is system generated; it does not confirm the scrutiny of the documents or eligibility of the candidates for the post.
iii. A candidate should submit only one application for one post. In case, candidate wishes to apply for more than one post then he/she must apply online separately, generate application ID separately and must appear with separate sets of application forms, documents and testimonials, photographs and separate fees for each post applied for. No photocopies will be arranged by the office.
iv. Application should be submitted online in the prescribed format and all fields are mandatory. No offline application is allowed.
v. Only shortlisted candidates should appear for personal interview. On the day of Interview, the shortlisted candidates should produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer.
vi. The Candidates shall bring a printout of PDF of the application generated for the applied post.
vii. The candidates who have applied for Full time super specialist can opt for Part time super specialist and vice- versa during the interviews in the same department.
viii. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
ix. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
x. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
