Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Limited was established in August 1976 and registered under the Companies Act 1956. In 1979 the Minor Forest Produce trade was nationalized in Gujarat. The Corporation was entrusted with the task of its execution. This meant translating on the ground the State Policy of protecting economic interest of STs, SCs and other weaker sections, while justifying its Corporate status. This Corporation gets no grants and budgetary support from the Government.

GSFDC Ltd. invites applications for the various posts of Supervisor (02) on contractual basis for 11 months.
Educational Qualification : Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from any recognized University in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Medicine with any one of the following subjects. (1) Agriculture (2) Botany (3) Chemistry (4) Computer Application / Science (5) Engineering (6) Environmental Science (7) Forestry (8) Geology (9) Horticulture (10) Mathematics (11) Physics (12) ) Statics (13) Animal Husbandry (14) Brewology (15) Pharmacy (16) Medicine (17) Biochemistry (18) Microbiology (19) Biotechnology
Age : No more than 36 years. There will be a five year exemption for the backward class candidate.
Experience : Must have 02 years experience
Computer Knowledge : computer knowledge in field type operation.
Duties : i) Achieving the targets of secondary forest products allotted by the sub division manager
(ii) To ensure the consolidation of high quality secondary forest products
