ACTREC Senior Research Fellow Job

The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state of art of R&D wing of the Tata Memorial Centre. It is located in the picturesque settings at the foot hills of the Sahyadri mountains in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.  ACTREC comprises of, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), Clinical Research Centre (CRC) and Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CEC), a setting that is unique in India and built and evolved with a vision to provide comprehensive cancer care to one and all, through its motto of excellence in services, education and research.

Post : Senior Research Fellow

To work on project entitled “Deciphering ‘B-others-acute lymphoblastic leukemia’: A prospective cytogenetic and molecular study for identification and evaluation of predictive prognostic markers”.

Essential Qualification : M.Tech/ M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks in Zoology / Medical or Biomedical Genetics / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Cytogenetics / Biochemistry / Medical laboratory. Candidates with CSIR NET/ GATE qualification will be preferred
Experience : Minimum 2 years’ experience in Molecular biology is essential and hands on experience in Real time PCR and sequencing will be preferred Consolidated Salary : Rs.43,400/-p.m.(RS.35,000/-p.m.+ 24% HRA)
Duration : Six months the work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on quarterly evaluation of performance


Eligible Candidates may attend the walk in interview on 6th May, 2021 (Thursday) at Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC along with recent CV & original and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials with recent passport size photograph.
