The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States. The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries. It strengthens the research capability of its Members through training and funding programmes and advisory services and represents a comprehensive approach to promoting biotechnology internationally.

Research Scientist - 1 post

Research scientist position is available in the ICGEB-Emory Vaccine Centre Lab, Molecular Medicine Group for a DBT sponsored project titled ‘Human B cell responses and receptor repertoire in dengue patients’

The project is funded for 2 years. Initially, this position is available for the six months and based on the performance of the candidate can be further extended.

Educational Qualifications: PhD with at least three to six years of postdoc experience in the field of cellular and molecular immunology.

Desirable qualification: Candidates with hands-on-experience in flow cytometry, highthroughput cloning from single cells and antibody characterization will be preferred.

Research Associate-III - 1 post

Research Associate III (RA-III) position is available in the ICGEB-Emory Vaccine Centre Lab, Molecular Medicine Group for a DBT sponsored project titled ‘Human B cell responses and receptor repertoire in dengue patients’ The project is funded for 2 years. Initially, this position is available for the six months and based on the performance of the candidate can be further extended.

Educational Qualifications: Essential qualification: PhD with up to 3 years of research experience in the field of virology

Desirable qualification: Candidates with hands-on-experience in Flavivirus/arbo virus research.
