It is recognized by S.P. University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Nirma University, Ahmadabad as a Centre for M.Tech and Ph.D. Research.

Applications are invited for filling up the following temporary position for the DST sponsored GSBTM project undertaken in the Bioconversion Technology Division of this Institute. The position is initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project (maximum up to 3 years).

Qualification: M.Tech in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or Masters degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry with NET/GATE/ or any National level examination from CSIR/UGC/DBT/DST/ICAR

Desirable: Sound knowledge in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic molecules, chemical extraction methods and down-stream processing

Job Profile: Primarily conduct research experiments relevant to the project as assigned by the Principal Investigator, maintain laboratory workbooks, operate bench-scale and pilot-scale reactors, minimum travelling required for experimentations

Fellowship: As per the DST norms (based on the eligibility)
