Pali Momi Medical Center overlooks majestic Pearl Harbor on the island of O‘ahu. With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered many medical firsts to the community, including West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women’s Center and the state’s first Retina Center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai‘i that utilizes a team triage approach in its Emergency Room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. For five consecutive years, the American Heart Association has recognized the hospital with its Gold Award for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease and its Gold Plus Award for Heart Failure, making it one of only 7 in the nation to receive this distinction.

Job Description
The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.  As the Clinical Pharmacist, you will help to ensure that our Pharmacy provides outstanding pharmaceutical services to Pali Momi patients and their families. In this role, you will oversee the appropriate use of drugs in our health care practice by evaluating drug/dosage patterns and potential adverse drug reactions, and providing accurate information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. We are looking for someone meticulous with a demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical investigation, excellent customer service and communication skills and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Candidate Profile
Current Hawai‘i Pharmacist license. Two (2) years inpatient pharmacist or related experience. High school or equivalent.
Pharmacy Doctorate degree and pharmacy residency training. Clinical pharmacist experience.  EOE/AA/Disabled/Vets
