Job description
• Identify manufacturing unit for contract manufacturing operation, getting the unit audited and include as approved source.
• Price negotiation , finalizing the agreement , sharing of documents , licensing and start commercial production
• Share rolling forecast of products to contract manufacturer considering the delivery lead time and making the product available as per plan.
• Audit of contract manufacturing locations on periodic interval to verify inventory and compliance to agreement conditions.
• Yield analysis of batches manufactured at L.L locations
• Processing the bills, accounting of stock etc. and settlement of dues to Contract Manufacturer
• Indenting material required at L.L locations, follow up for material availability at location and maintain inventory level for smooth execution of production plan at L.L locations.
Candidate Profile :
• BSc, B Pharma, B Tech with additional qualification like MBA, certificate course on SCM, demand planning etc. Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant role.
• Desirable experience- Operational knowledge on SAP
Purpose : To support PPMC function w.r.t manufacturing and sourcing of finished products from Contract Manufacturer in line with market demand while ensuring quality expectation at economical price.
Internal : President Operations, SVP Manufacturing, Head QC, Head QA, Central warehouse, Procurement, Distribution, Finance etc.
External : CFAs and Contract Manufacturers
Technical Requirements : Knowledge on Drugs & Cosmetic Act and Understanding applicable laws for movement of goods, Central Excise as applicable on Pharma products.
Key personal competencies : Facilitation Skills, Business partnering skills, Drive for results, Collaboration Skills, Analytical Skills.
