Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) is a leading organization in the field of research in tropical forestry, biodiversity and bioresource utilization. KFRI offers the CSIR scales of pay and other benefits (Scientist B: Rs. 15600-39100 + grade pay Rs. 5,400/- and Scientist-E1 Rs. 15600-39100 + grade pay Rs. 7,600/-) to scientists.

Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Botany / Environmental Science / Ecology / Zoology / Wildlife Biology

Desirable: Field work in remote forest areas

Duration: Up to 13 December 2015

Fellowship: Rs.11,000/- per month + 10% HRA

Age: Below 35 years

Walk-in-interview date, time and place: 21st April 2014, 10.00 AM Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi

A walk-in interview to fill a post of Project Fellow to join a time-bound research programme on “Structure, composition, dynamics and management of Vayal ecosystem in Periyar Tiger Reserve” will be held at 10.00 am onward on 21st April 2014, at KFRI. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.
