Job Description
1. Handle laboratory experiments (design, execution, and analysis) independently
2. Preparing specifications of new materials like biocides, mineral formulations, softener resins and any other new RMs developed for water purification
3. Explore and develop new biocides for water purification technologies to fit in current and future coming devices
4. Thorough knowledge in chemistry to understand water chemistry to resolve any consumer related water quality issues and also very good in application of chemistry knowledge to support the design team.
5. Skill of developing new vendors for different raw materials through good communication and technical knowledge, able to visualise the requirement of material to meet the performance of device
6. Implementation of new material in the manufacturing locations smoothly which needs good knowledge of 1 ) processing 2) physical and chemical properties of chemicals 3) safety etc
7. Very good knowledge / experience in analytical chemistry to understand EPA / ASTM methods.
8. Ability to develop 3P laboratories for conducting various studies involving full understanding of various EPA / NSF protocols, knowledge of testing methods etc
9. Preparation of specifications
Candidate Profile
Educational qualification
M. Sc (Chemistry) from reputed University.
Working experience
4-6 years, preferably in the field of water purification, pharmaceutical, biocide/ pesticides/ agrochemicals etc.
