H. R. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research started functioning in year in 2004 with a wide mission to impart high quality Pharmaceutical Education through innovative and interactive learning process for enlistment of their social image as well as help them to withstand in global competitive environment. The Institute with modern infrastructure comprises of several class rooms, tutorial rooms, conference hall, administration office, medicinal Garden, well equipped laboratories, all of which are built in accordance to the norms of AICTE & PCI New Delhi.

About the Department
The Department of Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance at the HRPIPER has a rich tradition of modernization and advancement of health through new knowledge. Our faculty members are continuously making significant contributions to enhancing drug delivery. The department conducts cutting edge research to create and disseminate new knowledge in the pharmaceutical sciences and to provide service to society. Some of our achievements are
• Research funding of more than Rs. 75 lakhs
• From four years, consecutive winner in Avishkar research competition
• Winner of national level best M. Pharm. thesis competition
• Publication of more than 200 research articles
• Filing of six patents
• Collaboration with industries and research institutions
• Development of ‘NANOTECH’ unit.
