To uplift the Pharmaceutical education & Research through various training programs to meet the demands of profession.

To develop demand oriented curriculum to meet the industrial needs.

Rainwater Harvesting and Water Management
Background: Population growth and irrigation requirements have resulted in over exploitation of ground water, whereas urbanization causes reduction in open soil surface and water infiltration rate and a resultant deterioration in water quality. Therefore, there is a pressing need for all concerned to discuss the pertinent issues of rainwater harvesting in a common platform and explore new possibilities. The seminar is planned to bring researchers, scientists, students, engineers and responsible citizens on a common platform to share and discuss their experiences, technological know-hows, constraints in implementation of rainwater harvesting schemes and other related issues in urban areas.

1. Scope of rainwater harvesting in rural and urban areas
2. Appropriate techniques for rainwater harvesting
3. Artificial recharge of aquifers in urban set  ups
4. Instrumentation in rainwater harvesting
5. Socio-economic aspects of rainwater harvesting
6. Public awareness on rainwater harvesting

Call for Presentation:
Papers reflecting original thoughts, research work and practical experiences in the field of rainwater harvesting and water resource management are invited for presentation at the National conference. Interested participants are requested to submit poster in the size 1 X 1 sqm. giving scope, methodology and key results of their papers. Participants are requested to send their posters to rwhwm.rcp@gmail.com and bring with them at the time of presentation. Authors are requested to mention the e-mail id of the author to be contacted.
