APP is a professional organization (Registered under Society Registration Act, Govt. of India) consisting of more than 600 pharmacy professionals from all over India and abroad. APP is willing and committed to serve pharmacy profession in all possible aspects, promote pharmaceutical education and research, recognize and honor experts, create awareness, continuing education, industry academic relationship and overall welfare of the pharma community through various professional activities.

ANNA UNIVERSITY BIT CAMPUS, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI
Bharathidasan Institute of Technology (BIT) has been established as a Technical Institute under Anna University, Chennai by the Government of Tamil Nadu. BIT has carved a niche for itself in providing technical education in the disciplines that are rare of their kind in our country with a high level of competence since 1999. It offers a variety of UG, PG and research programs with an approximate of 5000 students in the campus. The Institution works towards developing partnerships with industries and academic institutes to provide quality education and opportunities for entrepreneurial development. The main objective of the institute is to generate a horde of highly creative professionals, who can contribute not only to the Human Resource Development and also to Nation building exercise.

DEPT. OF PHARM. TECHNOLOGY
The Department offers B.Tech Pharmaceutical Technology, M.Tech Biopharmaceutical Technology, M.S. (By research) and Ph.D. in order to cater the technical human resource needed for the Pharmaceutical Industries. DST sponsored “National Facility for Drug Development for Academic Institutions, Pharmaceutical and Allied industries” provides State-of-the-art research facility. The department has been recognized as Centre for Excellence in Nanobio Translational REsearch (CENTRE) with full autonomy and committed towards translational drug research

ABOUT THE CONVENTION
The 5th Annual International Convention of APP aims to bring together to create a network of leading academic researchers, scientists, clinicians, industrialists, students and interested professionals to exchange and share their experiences and to declare their research results among the elite platform and to deliberate the issues concerned about all aspects of Clinical Translational Research and to make recommendations for consideration for necessary implications in near future. It also provides the premier inter- multi- trans- disciplinary forum with special emphasis on the implications of Nano – Bio – Pharmaceutical Technology for researchers, practitioners and educators to showcase and to discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Clinical Translational Research.

APP CONVENTION PUBLICATIONS APP is happy to announce the scientific partnership for its annual convention 2016 with European Society for Translational Medicine & Austrian Society for Translational Medicine, for online publication of ‘Book of Abstracts’ and ‘Proceedings of the convention’ through a special issue in ‘New Horizons in Translational Medicine’ the official peer reviewed international journal publication of EUSTM published by Elsevier and would be indexed in leading databases including Embase and Scopus etc.
