About College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (COPS)
Dayananda Sagar College of Pharmacy was started in 1981 to cater to the needs of Pharmacy Education in India under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. In the year 2015, the institution was renamed “College of Pharmaceutical Sciences” and merged as a branch of the School of Health Sciences, affiliated with Dayananda Sagar University. The college is recognized by PCI, New Delhi; and the Government of Karnataka; It is also a recognized Scientific and Industrial Organization by DSIR, Govt of India. The COPS offers B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Pharm D, and Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The College has vibrant clusters of innovation ecosystems focused on drug discovery and development; in collaboration with industrial partners and research organizations. It also has an excellent pharmacy practice department dedicated to the betterment of the healthcare community in association with Sagar hospitals, and Dr. Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education and Research

About Dayananda Sagar University (DSU)
Dayananda Sagar University is a private university; it has four different campuses in Karnataka. DSU is a proud member of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions family, founded by Late Sri Dayananda Sagar in the early sixties (with just four students). DSU has morphed into a global education powerhouse, spread over four campuses, catering to the education needs of over 17,000 students. Operating under the aegis of the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peth Trust in Bengaluru, DSI has enabled the transformation of tens of thousands of young Indians and international citizens into professionals in diverse specializations such as Health Sciences, Engineering, Computer Applications, Arts, and Management in the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels. INTRODUCTION
This lecture series will host interactive speeches on the Nobel Prizes topics 2022 in the field of medicine, physics, chemistry, literature, economics, and peace. The lecture series will highlight the discoveries of Nobel prize topics; its importance and greatest benefits to humankind leading to sustainable development. This platform is open for the participation of scientific and non-scientific community from Academia and Industry.

OBJECTIVES
• This virtual lecture series provides a platform to highlight the Nobel Prize discoveries 2022, narrated by eminent scientists on outcome of the discoveries and its benefits to the welfare of mankind.
• The event may be a torchbearer for the Millennials who look forward to the innovations.
•  The platform will create a link between eminent scientist across the globe and budding scientists.

• The event will ignite the young minds on the innovations that can be translated into useful products. 
• Young scientists across the globe will be benefited by the knowledge and expertise shared by the resource persons.
