It is a platform for students, young researchers, academicians- and scientists to exchange knowledge by sharing recent research and development in the field of tracer technologies in healthcare of plants and animals.

National Symposium

“Radiotracer Techniques: Improve Nutritional Status & Health of Plants & Animals”

1st February 2020
Saturday

SYMPOSIUM AT A GLANCE
Radiotracers have a wide range of application due to two unique features: a high level of detection sensitivity, and an ability to integrate into living systems. These features make the use of radiotracers particularly useful for studying the dynamic processes that comprise metabolic activity. Proposed symposium can help in development and evolution of an enhancement strategy to improve the level of quality and use of tracer techniques in our country. The aim of the symposium is to make pharmacy professionals and related people aware of advanced technologies in healthcare.

Topics to be Covered
• Principle of tracer technology
• Isotopic tracers in biomedical applications
• Isotopes used as tracers
• Design of tracer strategy
• Tracer sampling and sample transportation to analytical laboratory
• Applications of radiotracer in plant biology
